Non Immigrant and Immigrant Visa

 

Individuals who want to have temporary stay in the United States apply for Non Immigrant Visas.  It could be for temporary work, tourism or business. Nonimmigrant visa permits individual to travel to a U.S. point-of-entry, where you will request admittance from a Department of Homeland Security official.

H-1B Visa: The US H1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows US companies to employ foreign workers in specialty occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise in specialized fields such as engineering, science mathematics etc. 

L-1 Visa petition can be filed only by the parent, subsidiary, affiliate or branch of the foreign company where the alien has worked for at least 1 year in preceding 3 years in the capacity of manager, executive or special knowledge work. 

L-1A intra-company transferee classification applies to qualified executives and managers within multinational companies. 

L-1B petition is filed for individual who possess specialized knowledge of the sponsoring company’s product, service, research, equipment, techniques or advanced level of knowledge or expertise in organizations processes and procedures. 

TN Visa  is filed for “Professionals Under the North American Free Trade Agreement" (also known as a TN Visa) and is available only to citizens of Canada and Mexico. 

E3 Visa Petitions are for Australians aspiring to work in the US. Signed into law in 2005 by President George Bush as part of the free trade agreement between the US and Australia.
